James Gwise with Bohlin Cywinski Jackson

Design and fabrication: 1999

Powder coated aluminum elements are assembled to create a support structure for light fixtures and ductwork.   Flourescent uplights providing ambient light are placed in trays supported on a beam assembly consisting of aluminum angles.  Adjustable trackheads provide downlight and can be aimed at work tables; the lighting track is concealed within the built up beam.
